We are delighted to announce that the International Design Biennale of Saint-Étienne, France has included graphic work by Andrew Lewis Design, Canada. Andrew Lewis will be in attendance at the opening as special guest of the Biennale.
In 1998, The Saint-Etienne Regional School of Fine Arts began organizing the Saint-Etienne International Design Biennial, which was to become the most eclectic of design events in France. Produced and directed by the City of Design, the multiple exhibitions, conferences, symposiums and meetings make up a veritable laboratory of contemporary trends, providing a perspective on the thinking and questions of our time, in the light of design issues.
My poster has been included in the recent Moscow International Biennale of Graphic Design (Golden Bee) seen here on the left. It was originally designed as the exhibition poster for the Aleksei Kruchenykh tribute held at the State Museum of Maykovsky, Moscow 2011.
“Draw Me Democracy” is Poster for tomorrow’s new project and it’s also one of the few global projects that the UNDEF, the United Nations Democracy Fund, has ever financed. I am one of 12 international designers selected to teach a workshop and in my case Bogotá, Columbia!
I will be at The University of Texas in El Paso to judge the senior year show, give a workshop on creative process and to give a public lecture April 5th @ 6pm. A very kind invitation from Professor and friend, Antonio Castro.
I have been invited by the École Intuit.Lab Design University in Paris along with 6 other international designers to participate in the February 11-18, 2012 workshop/lecture series. The invited designers include: Ginette Caron Milan (Italy), Lino (Québec), Susana Machicao (Bolivia), Antoine Olivier (Brazil), and Glauco Bermunez (México). It will be an exciting week of teaching, lectures, exhibitions and gallery visits!

I will be a guest of the University Cristóbal Colón and Diseño Gráfico UCC in Veracruz, México, Oct 15-23. A week of workshops, lectures, studio visits and an exhibition along with students and faculty. Another great design and cultural exchange with Latin America!
My poster to support the efforts in Bolivia to stand against the government and their decision to pave a highway thru the protected rainforest, the TIPNIS (The Indigenous Territory and Isiboro Sécure National Park). The poster was selected for an exhibition of 50 international posters that will be shown in the following cities in Bolivia: La Paz, Cochabamaba, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Pando, Beni, Tarija, Potosi, Oruro and Sucre.
