Uppercase Winery: Naming + Branding Design

Bert Evertt, an entrepreneur from Vancouver, approached Andrew Lewis Design with a project to create a new winery brand. The project began with a naming exercise, and after researching over 100 potential names, they finally settled on "Uppercase Winery". The name was chosen because it denotes typographic origins while also suggesting a higher-end product, with absolute care and attention on the terroir of the Okanagan region in British Columbia, Canada. The design was then applied to the branding, as well as to interior and exterior applications such as the restaurant, visitor center, and label series.
